From Rival Reporters to Life Partners
Harris and Tony’s relationship began in Minneapolis, where she anchored for an ABC station while he worked as an investigative reporter for CBS. At the start, they were friendly competitors. After about six months, that rivalry turned into a genuine friendship — and in time, that friendship quietly deepened into love.
After dating for roughly a year, Tony proposed along the shores of Lake Superior, and Harris happily accepted. The couple married on April 12, 2003, in Arizona.
A Shift in Career — and a Shared Vision
Tony eventually stepped away from journalism. Drawing on everything he learned in news, he launched Berlin Media Relations in 2011. His insider knowledge of how newsrooms operate became a major strength in helping clients navigate media challenges.
Harris continued to thrive on camera at Fox News, balancing her demanding career with life at home.
Building a Family
Together, they welcomed two daughters: Bella in 2006 and Danika in 2009. The family lives in New Jersey, just across the river from New York City.
Harris has often said that raising their daughters — who grow up with both biracial and multifaith identities — has been a gift.
Blending Faith, Roots, and Traditions
Their marriage is interfaith: Harris is a Christian (Baptist), and Tony is Jewish. At home, they blend both traditions seamlessly. They attend church, enjoy family meals, and also celebrate Jewish holidays like Passover, reading from the Haggadah together.
Harris says their focus has always been on shared values — faith, gratitude, kindness, and service — rather than differences.
Quiet Support Behind the Scenes
Tony has been a steady pillar throughout Harris’s biggest life moments. Before Harris’s father passed away in 2020, Tony recorded interviews with him — footage that later became part of her Fox Nation series Footsteps of My Father.
A Love Rooted in Respect
Their marriage isn’t built on flashy gestures, though Tony has been known to surprise her with meaningful ones. For their 20th anniversary, he gifted her a custom Kansas City Chiefs jersey with her name and the number “20,” telling her, “You’re on my team.”
Harris often describes Tony as “an amazing guy” and someone she truly cannot imagine life without.
